The expertise of the project team spans a great variety of scientific disciplines, from technical and natural sciences to social sciences. Two project partners have experience in project management and/or project submission procedures at European level and all the project partners have extensive experience with EC’s research programmes. This will allow the team to cater into the varying interests of women in science as it is expected that the issues faced by women scientists in one disciplines may differ from other disciplines. Indeed, the project team is aware that women scientists do not form one homogeneous group but that their needs and interests will reflect various social, cultural, political and scientific contexts.
