The CEU Gender Studies Department will be hosting the annual meetings for the European Network for Women’s Studies, ATHENA III, from June 2-3, 2007. There will be a pre-session workshop on June 1 that is open to the public.
On May 17-18, 2007 Gender Symposium will be held under title "Gender, Empire, and Politics of Central and Eastern Europe". The symposium is organized together with Duke University and Washington University.
18 - 19 June 2007, Sweden, Stockholm. The theme of the conference is "The Human side of IT". The conference will deal with the human aspect of IT. It could be within the field of knowledge organization, information tasks, librarianship, learning and teaching as well as other aspects of information technology. There will also be an opportunity to participate in a half-day workshop, June 20th. This is the conference for you who work as a librarian, as an information specialist or officer, with archives, with web development or design,as a researcher within the fields of information technology, interaction design, librarianship, archives or information management.

The conference will reflect the breadth of JISC activities in providing guidance, advice and opportunities for the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in education and research. Meeting the networking needs of the international e-learning and distance education industry, the annual Online Educa Berlin conference is the key networking.
23-24 November 2006, Bucharest. The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) organizes in Bucharest the international conference on 'New EU Member States and Security Research', with the support of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD).
The event aims to promote the participation of the New Member States in the Security Research theme within the next FP7, support the entire European security supply chain in identifying potential partners for future cooperation and the exchange of information for stimulating partnership in research projects in this area.
The 2007 conference of the European Survey Research Association will be held in Prague, 25-29 June 2007. Registration for the conference is now open.
